Annual Boy Scout Outing at MSC
Medfield Boy Scouts Troop 89 converged on the MSC grounds March 8th and 9th for their annual camp-over. As usual, it was a great experience for the Scouts and Members alike.
The Scouts were very well fed, thanks to George Hinkley, Kenny Dorsey, Roger Whooten, Victor Vajda and Doug Pucillo. Per Club tradition, all the scouts were issued special club T-Shirts with our club logo on the front and their troop number and date of the campout on the back. They seemed extremely happy about that.
Thanks also to Rich Civetti and Jerry Mullins for some shooting instruction for the Scouts. Thanks again to Victor for spending the night at the club so the kids could use the facilities if necessary overnight. These were some brave kids... it rained like the dickens that night with high winds and not one of the Scouts deserted their tent for the comfort of the clubhouse. They sure enjoyed breakfast served by John Meincke and his extra early breakfast crew.
