MSC is an active sportsman's club whose Members gather to hunt, fish and relax occasionally over a warm meal. Frequent sporting contests throughout the year among MSC Members and other local Sporting Clubs keep everyone's skills sharp for in-season hunting and gaming activity.
The
Club maintains ~50 acres of private land in Medfield for Club Member pursuits,
which include a 5-station voice-activated Trap Range, a 120-yard Rifle Range,
a 50-yard Archery Range, and a 25-yard outdoor Pistol Range. Club
facilities also include a commercial-grade Kitchen that is in continuous use
by its Members and their families.
MSC Members meet the 3rd Tuesday of each Month to discuss and vote on Club matters. Membership dues are $100.-/year for Members who meet minimum work-party requirements, and $200.-/year for Members who do not.
The Medfield Sportsman's Club is run by a 4-member Board of Directors — a
President, Vice
President, Secretary, and Treasurer — and 9 Directors, who
are elected by the Membership at large each year. MSC Members are
informed of Club activity every month in the Club Newsletter.
From Labor Day to Memorial Day each year, the Club serves breakfast every Sunday to the general public, from 8am to 10:30 am.
